Product Operation Lead / R&D Delivery Manager

What you'll do

We are seeking a dynamic and driven R&D Delivery Manager to join our software development team. This role bridges the responsibilities of a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager, ensuring successful delivery of significant projects while maintaining a deep understanding of business goals, technical implementation, and team dynamics. The ideal candidate will drive project execution, monitor progress, resolve roadblocks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and top management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Strategy:

• Ensure R&D projects align with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Define objectives, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Align project execution with company goals and customer needs.
• Prioritize focus areas based on business value and feasibility.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Facilitate collaboration across product, engineering, and business teams.
• Empower teams, remove obstacles, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

Technical & Risk Management:

• Work with engineering teams to address technical challenges and ensure feasible solutions.
• Balance business and technical perspectives in decision-making.
• Identify, address, and escalate critical issues while proposing solutions for continuity.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain transparency with leadership and project teams through regular updates.
• Provide key performance metrics and status reports.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years in software development, with a mix of experience in product management, engineering management, or delivery roles.
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Solid understanding of technical concepts and ability to engage with engineering teams on implementation details.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
