The RegTech Convention is one of the largest financial market regulation and RegTech conferences with more than 1,600 attendees from over 80 countries. Participants include representatives from the banking sector, insurance companies, regulators, central banks, and the media.
The motto of this year’s RegTech Convention on November 29-30, 2022, is “Regulation 3.0”. In times of major change, significant political and economic challenges and new opportunities, financial market regulation has entered a new era. Both financial institutions and regulators see the need for a paradigm shift and are looking for new approaches for regulatory reporting processes and unlocking the full potential of RegTech and SupTech. The RegTech Convention is a global platform for all stakeholders to discuss what changes have to be made to render regulation smarter, better, and more efficient.
The two-day conference hosted by Regnology will feature keynotes, panel discussions, specialist conferences as well as deep-dive and breakout sessions. We are honored that Fredrik Reinfeldt, Swedish prime minister from 2006 – 2014 and former member of the European council, has already confirmed his participation.
The first conference day focuses on global developments in financial markets and regulation, political and economic challenges in Europe and the game changing possibilities of data driven innovation and challenges in ESG reporting, among many other themes that are of interest to financial institutions, regulators, and central banks.
On the second conference, attendees can look forward to specialist conferences (Banking Conference, Regulators Conference, Transactions Conference) and updates related to Regnology’s products and services portfolio. Last year´s case study from Australian Prudential Regulation Authority with CTO Doug Jenkins on the regulatory data management had high attendance from the regulators and central banks across the world.
If possible, depending on the pandemic, the 29th RegTech Convention will take place as a hybrid event. More information on a physical event will follow later in the year and communicated well in advance. Registration for the virtual event platform and the live stream is already possible. All presentations will be recorded and will be available online for participants for four weeks on-demand after the event. Further information on the program and the registration form can be found on the event website. Updates on the 29th RegTech Convention will also be shared via Regnology’s LinkedIn page.
