What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of our international
Research & Development team, contributing to the development and enhancement of our regulatory reporting product
Regnology GMP. Working in an agile environment, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges while mentoring and guiding less experienced team members to ensure best practices and technical excellence.
Your Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions for Regnology GMP, ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other Engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with our Platform Team to ensure technical alignment across the organization.
- Effectively communicate technical requirements and challenges while working together to optimize infrastructure and system architecture.
- Analyze complex data structures and work with SQL databases to implement efficient data processing and reporting functionalities.
- Contribute to the architecture and performance optimization of our software.
- Support our clients and internal teams by troubleshooting technical issues and providing expert advice.
- Create technical documentation, define user stories, and contribute to the agile development process.
- Work with a diverse, international team and actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Why we should decide on you
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java and SQL.
- Solid understanding of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with complex queries and data modeling.
- Experience with modern software architectures, REST APIs, and cloud technologies is a plus.
- A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (spoken & written); German is a plus.
- A proactive mindset, hands-on mentality, and a passion for innovation.
- A strong team player, who enjoys collaborating in an international environment.
