What you'll do
As a
Junior Software Engineer, you’ll be part of our international
Research & Development Team, contributing to the agile development of our
Abacus Banking software in the
RegTech domain. Your role will involve:
- Developing and enhancing regulatory solutions by analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, maintaining, and documenting requirements from national and international banking authorities
- Providing technical support to customers and Business Analysts, assisting with troubleshooting, and resolving inquiries.
- Ensuring software quality by creating well-defined test cases, test data, and user stories within the agile development process.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Software Engineers, Test System Operators, and Architects across different levels and locations.
- Creating clear and concise documentation for both internal and client use.

- Database Knowledge, SQL
- Java, including core concepts
- Knowledge of standard design and integration patterns, as well as development best practices
- Experience with Maven for project build and dependency management
- QA and CI/CD pipelines: Unit Testing and Integration Testing, Jenkins
- Git and collaborative tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Would be an advantage:
- Kubernetes and/or Docker: understanding of containers, pods, and pipelines
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Educational background in (Technical) Business Administration, Computer Science, Econometrics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
- You are based in Sibiu.
