What you'll do

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our cloud-based financial services product development. Beyond contributing your technical expertise, you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of developers as part of our agile & international Research & Development team.
Your Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor developers, promoting best practices, collaboration and professional growth.
  • Design and implement enterprise-level features using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop high-performance, maintainable Java code that meets technical and business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to create impactful software solutions.
  • Configure and optimize continuous integration pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Contribute to key architectural decisions and technical designs.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability in a cloud-based environment.

  • 5+ years of professional Java development experience, particularly with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring, guiding teams, and promoting a collaborative team culture.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
  • Advanced experience with Jenkins for continuous integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud) is a strong plus.
  • Experience in Agile software development environments.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for working in an international, growing company.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

While a minimum salary of EUR 3,455 gross per month applies to this position, we offer a market-oriented salary, depending on your qualifications and experience.
