What you'll do

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is looking for a new challenge. Working for the Group M&A Finance Director, you will be part of a small team ensuring the successful delivery of integration projects across the Regnology group. This is a highly varied role that will involve end to end participation from target due diligence through to go live migration across the Regnology platforms.
 The ideal candidate will have a passion for involvement in M&A, delivery of change initiatives and problem solving. IT affinity and exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 while not essential, is highly desirable. 
 
Key accountabilities: 
  •  Assist in the development of integration plans for acquired entities and the tracking of progress against same. 
  • Develop models for the reporting of post-acquisition performance against plan for communication to the Regnology Board. 
  • Extract and analyse all financial related data provided by target company pre-acquisition to assist in the Financial Due Diligence Process.  
  • Work directly with Regnology business partners to analyse requirements for the proposal & implementation of automated solutions that will work effectively and efficiently, eliminating manual data extraction and processing where possible. 
  • Collaborate with the local Financial Controllers for the post acquisition integration of M&A entities – including IFRS accounting, Local GAAP statutory accounting and Tax Compliance.  
  • Research and suggest improvements to reporting tools with a focus on functionality development.  
  • Maintain data integrity of Dynamics 365 to ensure IFRS and local legal statutory and accounting reporting requirements are met. 
  • Support Regnology initiatives and ad-hoc GL relevant projects as requested. 
  • Continued development of the role to expand responsibilities within the M&A Integration team.

  • Qualified Accountant- CIMA, ACCA, ACA (or equivalent).
  • 3 years + post qualification experience. Recent experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge.
  • You are fluent in English and based in Ireland.
  • Highly skilled in Excel and IT automation with experience in generating creative integration solutions.
  • Change mindset – Actively seeks out change, with proven skills in process re-organisation and project planning.
  • Analytics and reporting expertise. Experience with extracting key information from data and communicating the results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders
