 If so, we want to hear from you! We are searching for a seasoned and visionary Head of SRE to join our growing team. 
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building and scaling our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical infrastructure built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

  • Lead and manage a team of talented SRE engineers.
  • Develop and implement a robust SRE strategy aligned with overall business 
     objectives.
  • Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and performant 
     infrastructure on GCP and GKE.
  • Implement and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response 
     processes to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
  • Champion automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and other teams to ensure a smooth 
     and efficient development lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the 
     SRE team.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest SRE and cloud technologies, including GCP, GKE, 
     Kubernetes, and related tools.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure management, systems engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing large SRE teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A passion for building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and performant systems.
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience with cloud-native technologies like serverless computing and API gateways.
    • Experience with cloud security best practices.
    • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Kubernetes certifications.
