What you'll do

All over the world, the Supervisory Authorities are collecting data from their supervised entities through regulatory reporting. Our software is used both by the supervisory authorities (SupTech solution) and by their supervised entities (RegTech solution). 
As a Configuration Analyst in Regnology, you will work as part of a configuration team (functional development), in charge of configuring our RegTech and SupTech software in order to enable our clients to meet their reporting obligations. 
It means that you will design the standard configuration of the regulatory content in our software before delivering it to the clients.
 
Your key accountabilities are:
  • Understanding the regulatory requirements that have been specified by our regulatory watch team
  • Reviewing the configuration specifications, querying the content of the specifications & implementing it.
  • Participating in the estimation of the configuration work required to update an existing regulatory model or to create a new one.
  • Track the time it takes to perform various configuration tasks to ensure estimates are valid.
  • Using Regnology content designers, create the required regulatory configuration to cover our client needs in our regulatory software solutions.
  • Ensuring that the configuration created meets the regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring that the configuration created is in line with Regnology best practices & standards.
  • Ensuring that the configuration created & releases delivered to clients are of the highest quality.
  • Creating test data to test the configuration tasks developed.
  • Testing the configuration tasks against the specifications to ensure releases delivered to client are of high quality.
  • Analyse/re-produce defects/change requests raised internally or by the client.
  • Fix defects/CRs raised internally or by the client.
  • Recommend configuration solutions based on knowledge of the product.
  • Verify solutions to ensure it will function as expected.
  • Look for ways to streamline processes & suggest improvements.

  • Third level: Honours bachelor’s degree in relevant field (business and/or computing related)
  • Expert in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Should have basic technical skills in SQL queries or Excel VBA 
  • Experience of designing and formulating functional test scripts using best practice.
  • Experience in working with requirements related to software projects for international clients.
