Regnology accelerates SupTech evolution with acquisition of BR-AG

Frankfurt, Germany, 21 January 2025 - Regnology, a leading software provider with a focus on regulatory reporting solutions, announced today the acquisition of BR-AG P.S.A. (BR-AG), a Polish provider of advanced RegTech and SupTech solutions. This strategic acquisition underscores Regnology's commitment to extending its Regulatory Supervision Hub (RSH) offering and strengthening its international presence for banks.

Established in 2005, BR-AG offers advanced RegTech and SupTech solutions, including consulting services in taxonomy and data model development, regulatory reporting, and compliance to enhance reporting efficiency, ensure data standardization, and enable advanced analytics.

Their innovative product offerings are built on the ATOME suite, designed to modernize supervisory processes and accelerate digital transformation. This suite features ATOME Matter, a solution widely used by regulators for taxonomy management.

This acquisition brings substantial benefits to both regulators and banks by extending Regnology’s value proposition, including:

• Enhanced SupTech Capabilities: Expanding Regnology's scope of product and service offerings in the SupTech space, regulators will now have access to advanced tools for designing and sharing Data Point Model (DPM) taxonomies, facilitating more efficient and effective regulatory processes.
