What you'll do

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be part of our international Legal & Compliance team, supporting the establishment and execution of cross-functional Compliance projects and tasks to ensure Regnology is compliant with its regulatory and legal requirements (external) as well as policies and procedures (internal). The role requires an attentive and detail-oriented approach, as well as the ability to independently resolve a variety of cross-functional business issues without close supervision. The position is offered on an initial 12 month contract with potential for extension.
 
Your key accountabilities are:
  • Review and update of internal policies and procedures. 
  • Data Privacy matters: deep knowledge of GDPR, able to self-efficiently maintain and update register of processing activities in external tool (OneTrust). Detailed knowledge of other data privacy laws (e.g. in UK, Switzerland, USA) would be an advantage.
  • Due Diligence: monitoring ongoing Know-Your-Customer and Know-Your Supplier compliance with help of existing external tool (NAVEX).
  • ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance): assists in collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data. Stays up to date on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve Regnology’s ESG reporting and performance.
  • Organises, holds, coordinates and monitors completion of required Compliance trainings for employees, supported by your colleagues in the Compliance team. 
  • Prepares and organizes documentation for upcoming external audits and certifications.

  • Successfully completed university studies in law or business administration or a comparable education in the legal and compliance environment.  
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience working in the field of compliance, ideally within an international software, financial services and/or consulting organization or in a law firm.  
  • Proven track record in operational oversight of compliance, governance, and process management in theory and in practice, able to monitor, evaluate and further develop compliance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong IT affinity.
  • Prior knowledge of compliance relevant systems such as OneTrust and NAVEX RiskRate and Whistleblowing would be an advantage.
  • Self-starter with hands-on approach, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
  • Enthusiasm for international work in a constantly growing, agile company. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and able to build trust. Communicates clearly and effectively and advises and motivates the organisation to ensure compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required.
  • Utilizes strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
